We're Even Famouser!
C.V.D.G.E.L. was recently interviewed by the Chicago Tribune for an upcoming article. As soon as we have a publication date, we will let you know, as we are nothing if not shameless in our self-promotion.
Also in our ass-kicking, though.
First Chicago, next... THE WORLD! C.V.D.G.E.L. reigns supreme!
Note: The Trib article came out on Thursday, June 22.

We rules!
Rules have now been discussed and are now posted. We realize many of them are silly. To this we say: hey, urban golf what what? Silly is our bread and butter, baby.
This coming week, we'll be finalizing a route and determining hole locations.
Also, you can now begin signing up for our first event, taking place on May 27. See sign up for instructions. We're limited in the number of people we can handle, so do it now. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait until we get our act together and organize another one of these. And then you will be sad.
We can't stress this enough: even though space for actual teams is restricted, we wholeheartedly encourage people to bring cheerleaders, peanut galleries, pep squads, random strangers you picked up on the way, and anyone else who wants to watch the spectacle. You heard us. Bring the love.

Scouting Mission 1: success!
Today we scouted out potential bars and fairways in the beautiful Lincoln Square neighborhood.
We found several nice locations, a woman in a red-sequin cocktail dress singing John Denver songs, a chicago mafia front bar, and the nicest pizza delivery guy ever. Yum, thanks pizza delivery guy.
Ruleset, map and logistics are well underway.
